Week three of our Gain, Save, give stewardship series, the Give week, leading into Consecration Sunday. This is a stewardship sermon, but it is not a money sermon. Jesus tells the strange story of a manager called to give an account of his management, and then He tells us plainly that where our treasure is, there our heart will be also. This message invites the congregation to take an honest and grace filled look at their whole lives, time, talent, and treasure, and to discover that stewardship is really about becoming little Christs, people through whom the love of Jesus flows into the world.
